Dependable Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Health team in Greater Las Vegas area .

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under the direction of the Registered Nurse and physician

• Perform nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with the patient's plan of care

• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the supervising RN and physician

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, disease processes, safety, and home care techniques

• Accurately complete clinical documentation in a timely manner

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team

• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations

Qualifications

• Current Nevada Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Current CPR/BLS Certification

• Valid Nevada Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Current TB clearance (or ability to obtain)

• Home Health experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply

• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
