PHYSICAL THERAPIST ACUTE CARE INPATIENT REHAB

Job Responsibilities Physical Therapist candidates in the Acute Care Inpatient Rehab Unit will have the following responsibilities: Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics. Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care. Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care. Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to use outside of therapy sessions. Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs. Job Qualifications Physical Therapist candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Licensed Physical Therapist. Master's Degree, or Bachelors Degree. At least 1 year of PT experience. No travel required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
