Description
As a Service Valet, you play an important role at Norm Reeves Ford. You help create a great experience for our guests while making sure their vehicles are cleaned and handled with care. Your positive attitude and attention to detail help keep guests coming back.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone motivated to start a career in the automotive service industry. Norm Reeves Ford values growth, promotes from within, and is looking for individuals who are excited to build a long-term career at a dealership.
What You'll Do:
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location
- Controls service traffic flow and parking
- Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
- Assists service advisors when needed
- Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
- Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
- Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
- Bring customers' vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
- Ensure customers' vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit
- Guides vehicles through the car wash
- Light lifting duties when needed
What You'll Need:
- Full time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
- Strong sense of accountability
- Excellent communication and a positive attitude
