Imaging Scheduler

Position Overview Work with Scheduling to schedule specific invasive and non-invasive procedures, review pre‑preparations with patients, order providers and nursing units, and support patients, providers, nursing units, bed board, and technologists within the scope of practice. Collaborate with the Imaging Information Analyst on coding and pre‑authorization for accurate billing and payments. The position continues to evolve with increased responsibilities required by ordering providers and interventionists. Responsibilities Coordinate scheduling of invasive and non‑invasive procedures. Review patient pre‑preparations with patients. Order providers and nursing units. Support patients, providers, nursing units, bed board, and technologists within scope of practice. Collaborate with the Imaging Information Analyst on coding and pre‑authorization for accurate billing and payments. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience working in healthcare OR one (1) year of experience in imaging/radiology. Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred). Previous radiology/imaging experience (preferred). Associate degree or certificate in related field (preferred). CPR certification within 3 months of hire (required). Medical Reception certification (preferred). Compensation $17.98 – $25.17 per hour, depending on experience. Work Shift Day shift, regular scheduled. Weekly hours: 40.
