Registered Behavior Technician - Clinic-Based

Behavior Technicians (BTs) work one-on-one with children to help build communication, social, and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA). Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities High School Diploma 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred) Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality Must pass a background check Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings Entry Level Behavior Technician Benefits Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision benefits package Paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and a referral bonus program Disability insurance and 401(k) retirement plan Paid RBT training program with initial and ongoing professional development Small caseload for individualized support and quality care Company-provided CPR and behavior management training Positive and supportive work environment $17 - $20 an hour #J-18808-Ljbffr MedCare Pediatric Group, LP
