Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem

Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or as directed by a licensed professional, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. The role involves coordinating care across departments and maintaining professional accountability. Responsibilities Floats between designated hospital facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical. Offers flexible scheduling, including day or night shifts, with no mandatory weekends or holidays. Responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and adapting to shift cancellations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current licensure Recent bedside LPN experience: 1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for other specialties Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification for specific departments Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks Key Duties Providing patient-centered care, ensuring safety, and collaborating across departments to support patient needs.
