Content Specialist

Job Summary

A Newport Beach organization in the residential and commercial construction products industry is seeking a detail-oriented Content Specialist / Marketing Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with strong Adobe Creative Suite skills who enjoys keeping product literature, technical content, presentations, and digital marketing materials accurate, polished, and on brand.

The Content Specialist will work closely with engineering, sales, and management in a small, collaborative office environment where accuracy, teamwork, and responsiveness are highly valued. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants visibility across departments, direct interaction with leadership, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on customer-facing marketing and technical materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Update and maintain product literature, technical data sheets, installation guides, brochures, presentations, and related marketing materials.
- Use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat to create, revise, and format professional branded content.
- Partner with engineering, sales, and management to ensure customer-facing materials are accurate, current, and visually consistent.
- Support website content updates, basic CMS editing, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Assist with Google Ads, email marketing campaigns, trade show materials, and other B2B marketing projects.
- Proofread content and manage multiple revisions, deadlines, and project priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $28 to $35 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work arrangement: 100 percent onsite in Newport Beach, CA.
- Work environment: Small office setting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Maintain and update marketing and technical literature for construction, manufacturing, or product-based materials.
- Create and revise brochures, technical data sheets, presentations, installation guides, and website content.
- Coordinate content accuracy with engineering, sales, and management teams.
- Support digital marketing, email marketing, Google Ads, and trade show material coordination.

- 1 to 3 years of marketing, content coordination, or graphic design experience required, with 3 to 5 years of experience a strong match for the role.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Excellent organization, project management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, revisions, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic website or CMS editing.
- Professional, collaborative communication style and ability to work effectively in a small office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with Google Ads, Mailchimp, and B2B marketing.
- Experience supporting marketing for manufacturing, construction, industrial products, or technical product lines.
- Background creating or maintaining technical literature, product documentation, or sales collateral.
- Experience coordinating trade show materials or supporting lead generation campaigns.
