TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISORAlbuquerque, NM 87113Start Date 10/07/2026## OverviewSalary Range$16.82 - $18.93 HourlyPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftAnyCategoryResort## Description| || --- || **Position Summary** || Oversees the Transportation Drivers and assists the Guest Service Coordinator with managing operational processes, procedures and issues. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that routes run on time and adequate transportation services are provided for guests and employees. Meeting all performance standards leads to attracting and retaining a qualified workforce, provide opportunities for qualified team members, and contribute towards the ongoing success at Pueblo of Sandia today and in the future. || **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** || 1. Assists Guest Services Coordinator with training, scheduling and other employee issues. 2. Interviews and hires Transportation Drivers. 3. Develops and monitors guest services standards drivers are providing guests. 4. Monitors and updates the driving records and certifications of the shuttle drivers. 5. Assists in mapping, planning routes and coordinates with area hotels and conference centers for pickup and returns of guests to/from the property. 6. Assists with shuttle driver to maintain vehicles for services and cleanliness of all department vehicles. 7. Contributes to the historical database for vehicle usage and maintenance of all department vehicles. 8. Assists in maintaining a credit card log for fuel usage of department vehicles. 9. Maintains accountability and usage of vehicle keys. 10. Ensures that drivers are following the set department standard operational procedures. 11. Reports any accidents/incidents and/or damage to vehicles utilizing the transportation service. 12. Greets and assists guests. 13. Enters maintenance records of fleet vehicles into the Fleet Management System. 14. Creates an environment of teamwork and provides a positive work culture and a collaborative team. 15. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia. || **Additional Responsibilities** || 1. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 2. A quality guest service experience is an essential component for all Team members working at the Pueblo of Sandia particularly those positions assigned to work in all public areas. **Team members in this capacity:** 1. Serves as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner. 2. Reflects a sense of trust, comfort and understanding by demonstrating empathy for guests when problems occur. 3. Resolves all issues in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations. Possesses knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered. 4. Builds relationships with guests based upon respect, and confidence while maintaining a friendly, and approachable demeanor. || || --- || **Key Performance Indicators** || This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process. || **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** || 1. Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills. 2. Knowledge of transportation operating requirements. 3. Must be able to present a MVD license record report with good standings. 4. Ability to drive a vehicle equipped with standard transmission. 5. Exhibits a strong commitment to the company and the owners. 6. Must furnish proof of valid personal insurance. 7. Ability to provide exceptional guest services. |## Qualifications| | || --- | --- || **Education and Experience** | || Required: 1. Must be at least 25 years of age. 2. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. 3. Three (3) years’ work experience within a transportation and/or hospitality industry. 4. One (1) year supervisory experience 5. Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles. Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience. | || **License/Certifications/Registrations** | || 1. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License. 2. Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred. 3. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation. 4. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening. | || | **Physical Requirements/Working Conditions** The following selected physical activities are required to perform the essential functions of this position || **Physical Requirement** | **Description** || **Balancing** | Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. || **Kneeling** | Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees. || **Lifting** | Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles. (Up to 50 lbs.) || **Pushing** | Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. (Up to 50 lbs.) || **Reaching** | Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. || **Seeing** | The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. || **Walking** | Job requirements include, in the performance of duties, walking throughout the work area, on various work surfaces throughout internal or external locations. || **Seeing** | The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye. || **Sitting** | Particularly for sustained periods of time. || **Standing** | Particularly for sustained periods of time. || **Stooping** | Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles. || **Talking** | Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. || **List Working Conditions Required:** | The worker is subject to: 1. Visual acuity requirements: to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. 2. Activities occur inside and outside. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. 3. Noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level. 4. Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving vehicles, exposure to high heat or extreme cold. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement, asphalt structures and surfaces. |
