Manages all clinical functions and operations of the assigned area or units. Ensures efficient and effective delivery of clinical patients are and services and ensures compliance with administrative, regulatory and clinical policies and procedures. To perform job duties in accordance with the medical center's purpose.## Education & Experience**Education and Experience Required:**Bachelor's degree in nursing and five (5) years of RN experience, two (2) of those years in a leadership role. **Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:**Valid RN license.**Preferred Qualifications:**Clinical experience in area to be supervised/managed preferred.## Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**Knowledge and understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures. Project management skills including the ability to effectively manage resources.**Responsibilities*** Manages and directs the operations and delivery of patient care within the budgetary, staffing and regulatory guidelines, using evidence based practice.* Ensures that personnel demonstrate quality standards of customer satisfaction and patient care.* Manages nursing and ancillary personnel within an assigned area or unit by coaching, educating, consulting, training and evaluating their performance.* Plans, schedules and organizes the work of the assigned area or unit to ensure the proper distribution of assignments and efficient utilization of clinical personnel, space and facilities.* Participates in planning, preparing, and prioritizing of budgets for assigned areas of responsibility.
