Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Blood Cancer unit with a 3–4:1 patient ratio during night shift
• Administer medications, blood products, and electrolyte replacements per standing orders and unit protocols
• Operate and monitor telemetry, Alaris pumps, Alaris PCA, and bladder scanner equipment
• Assist with or support procedures including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate within a team-oriented nursing culture to deliver high-quality, compassionate oncology care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of current, acute care hospital experience in Oncology or Med/Surg
• Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Comfort working in proximity to hazardous drugs (chemo/biotherapy administration requires certification)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemo and biotherapy certification
• Step-down or acute hematology experience, including familiarity with standing orders such as fluid bolus and first fever protocols
• Compassionate approach to oncology and chronic patient populations
• Adaptability and ability to quickly learn unit-specific workflows and procedures
