Business Tax Advisor

We are seeking a Business Tax Advisor to deliver proactive, planning-driven tax services for our clients’ closely held businesses. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical advice in a collaborative wealth management environment. Key Responsibilities Review and sign off on federal and state tax returns for corporations and partnerships. Manage the full compliance process, including estimates, extensions, and K-1 coordination. Advise on entity selection, restructuring, and tax-efficient operating strategies. Develop compensation and distribution planning strategies for business owners. Analyze and recommend retirement plan options in coordination with broader planning objectives. Support exit and succession planning, including business sales, ownership transitions, and generational transfers. Collaborate with financial advisors and other internal specialists to integrate business tax strategies into comprehensive client planning. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience with an extensive background in entity taxation. CPA or JD required; Master’s in taxation preferred. Ability to manage multiple client engagement and projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research and analytical skills. Willingness and desire to be part of a team. Compensation Salary range: $150,000 – $200,000. Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Disability Insurance for employees are 100% paid for by the company. 401(k) Plan + match.
