FP&A Director

Role:

Strategic Director of FP&A responsible for financial planning, analysis, and insights within Rakuten Rewards to optimize performance and resource allocation.

Responsibilities:

• lead annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans
• partner with business unit leaders providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations
• oversee financial reporting, dashboards, and KPIs
• collaborate with marketing analytics on revenue and lifetime value analysis
• identify opportunities for financial improvement and risk mitigation
• contribute to revenue planning and support the Japan parent company

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics
• 7+ years in FP&A, with 2-3 years in leadership roles managing complex analyses
• strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
• proficient in Excel, Adaptive, Tableau
• excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and adaptability
