Operations Support Technician

Job Opportunity

This position requires a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with welding experience. Certification and/or trade school completion is preferred. At least 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience is required, with mechanical aptitude and electrical background being preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements and continuous improvement methods is also necessary. This role involves significant travel, with 10-50% of time spent traveling per month, depending on business productivity. A valid driver's license is mandatory, and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid CDL license to drive Sweco Trucks is required. Strong interpersonal and sales skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential.

Responsibilities include demonstrating knowledge and ability to rebuild and maintain centrifuge RTAs and other SWECO equipment, maintaining field test equipment, creating and maintaining an open and effective communication system between field sales, customer service, and sales management, troubleshooting equipment and repairs, providing technical assistance, and performing field testing along with quality & safety audits.

Skills required include excellent analytical, administrative, communications, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. The candidate must also have initiative and the ability to work effectively with little direction and/or few guidelines.
