Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Surgical Office Practice supporting our Ophthalmology Service! We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-centered Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical oncology environment. Role Overview: Work within a Nurse-Physician/APP based Ambulatory Care Practice Model. Provide clinical support to staff members and assist with management of a caseload of Surgical Oncology patients, with a focus in our Ophthalmology Surgical specialty. Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education, and symptom management. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow up. Key Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required) ActiveNewYork State RN license Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience BLS certification Previous ophthalmology experience preferred Core Skills: Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and adaptability in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills; consistently upholds professional nursing standards and evidence-based practice.
