Road Supervisor MV Transportation is seeking a motivated Road Supervisor to support our paratransit operations in Anchorage, Alaska. This field‑based leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service while supporting operators, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining compliance with company, client, DOT, and FTA requirements. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily street operations to ensure safe, reliable, and on‑time service. Conduct ride checks, gate checks, field observations, and service audits. Respond to accidents, incidents, passenger concerns, and service disruptions. Support safety initiatives through coaching, observations, and policy compliance. Coordinate with Dispatch and Maintenance to resolve operational issues. Complete reports, investigations, and required documentation. Monitor operator compliance with licensing, uniforms, and company policies. Fill driving assignments when needed to maintain service. Preferred Qualifications Transportation or supervisory experience. Knowledge of ADA transportation requirements. Experience with accident investigations, employee coaching, or safety programs. Strong communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and enter/exit transit vehicles throughout the day. Why MV Transportation? At MV Transportation, safety is our culture. Previous supervisory experience in public transportation, paratransit, or a related transportation environment preferred. Strong knowledge of transportation operations and safety practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies. Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call assignments. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to meet all MV Transportation and client qualification requirements.
