Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support daily shipping and receiving operations. This position will work closely with drivers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Check drivers in and out while providing professional customer service
- Manage the shipping and receiving window
- Process inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documents
- Review and maintain accurate shipping and receiving paperwork
- Enter and update shipment and inventory information in computer systems
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipments
- Assist with inventory transactions and documentation
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Maintain organized and accurate records
- Follow company safety and operating procedures
- Support additional warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse clerical, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound shipping processes
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with WMS, SAP, or similar warehouse software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work well with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
