Shipping Manager

General Summary: This position manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, and inventory control.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines.
• Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards.
• Produce products that meet or exceed the customers' (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide positive people oriented work environment, designed to build morale.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control.
• Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• SAP experience a plus.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; College Degree preferred
