BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD.

Whether you're a cheer coach, dance instructor, former cheerleader, teacher, college student, or someone with experience working with youth, this is a rewarding opportunity to help children stay active while building confidence and teamwork.
Position Details
Part-time, after-school position
Monday through Friday
Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
1.5-hour sessions
$45 per session ($30 per hour)
No weekends
No lesson planning required
Curriculum, music, and equipment provided

Responsibilities
Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students
Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship
Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience is preferred but not required
Experience working with children is a plus
Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
Reliable transportation to Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD
Dependable and punctual
Must successfully complete the required Howard County Public School System background check and fingerprinting process
