Must have at least 1year experience Water Blasting Shift: Thursday - Sunday 4:00pm - 2:30amWe're looking for a dependable Water Blaster to support industrial cleaning operations by performing high-pressure water blasting and general cleaning tasks in manufacturing environments. This role plays an important part in maintaining safe, efficient, and clean work areas while following MPW safety standards and customer expectations.What You'll BringA strong commitment to safety by consistently following OSHA regulations, company policies, and safe work practices.A dependable work ethic with the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist coworkers, support training efforts, and communicate effectively with supervisors.Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to safely operate, inspect, and maintain water blasting equipment.What You'll DoPerform industrial water blasting and cleaning activities in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.Clean production floors, equipment, and work areas as assigned.Remove residue from underneath manufacturing equipment and surrounding areas.Perform detailed cleaning of paint booths, ovens, and other designated production equipment.Cover cleaned areas with plastic or paper as directed to support cleaning and production requirements.Clean paint grates using caustic cleaning methods and high-pressure water blasting equipment.Clean and maintain robotic equipment used within the production environment.Set up water blasting equipment, including changing nozzles and spray guns as required.Perform routine maintenance on water blasting equipment according to established schedules.Maintain clean and organized work areas and employee break areas.Assist with the on-the-job training of new employees and transferred team members.Complete assigned work within established timeframes while meeting or exceeding customer quality expectations.Follow OSHA regulations and all MPW safety policies and procedures.Report equipment concerns, safety issues, or operational problems to a supervisor immediately.Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by management.What You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted.Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation.Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to perform physically demanding manual labor throughout the workday while maintaining alertness and fitness for duty.Ability to work in and around confined spaces and wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, when working around chemicals, fumes, or similar environmental exposures.Ability to travel for work assignments as needed, including overnight travel for days or weeks, and work extended shifts beyond eight hours, including overtime, when business needs require.Benefits and PerksCompetitive pay and career growth opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchTime off and floating holidaysVolunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to your communityEmployee referral bonus programWellness benefits that support your overall health and well-beingOpportunities for training and professional developmentSupportive and collaborative team environmentStable company with long-term career opportunitiesWho Thrives HereIndividuals who value meaningful work and enjoy being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment take initiative, communicate clearly, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and service, while understanding that great results come from collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.You’ll fit right in if you are:Motivated by purpose and serviceReliable and committed to quality workA strong communicator and team playerCurious and open to learning new thingsSolution-oriented and proactiveSomeone who values respect, teamwork, and professionalismWe believe great workplaces are built on trust, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr MPW Industrial Service Group
