Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

This opportunity is Per Diem and offers a convenient schedule of 6am-12pm at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintenance of records. They function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.

Qualifications: Technical school/2 years college/Associate degree preferred. Pharmacy Tech certification preferred. Florida Pharmacy Tech license required. Experience in acute care setting preferred. Excellent computer skills required.
