Position Title : Site Reliability Architect (Req# R11501)

:

Understand cloud computing and technology systems. Design and transfer applications to the cloud. Articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners. Implement system self-healing strategies and define high availability standards. Design CI/CD Pipelines and ensure system-level fault tolerance for all ZOLL Data Commercial Platforms. Own injection of faults/failures into distributed systems (chaos engineering) in order to learn/adapt the system's ability to withstand failures in production. Architect a new framework to establish an SRE Model across multiple teams. Develop new processes to prevent problem recurrence; automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions. Identify opportunities to improve architecture/engineering practice. Mentor staff to replace manual processes with automation and develop IaC capabilities. Build capabilities through an automation platform in support of our journey to build our software products into cloud environments. Configure and integrate of infrastructure-as-code. Design and deploy alerting, self-Healing components. Coach teams to enhance incident response handling. Collaborate across all levels of the organization to drive the SRE model. Position is fixed based in Broomfield, CO; however, telecommuting permitted up to four (4) days per week.

Job Requirements :

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering [any] or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Application Engineer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or a related occupation. Experience must include:

Four (4) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Cloud computing and technology systems
• Articulating complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
• Architecting and developing end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure Management, Monitoring
• Data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• .NET frameworks and Python or Golang programming languages
• Unit and integration testing
• Full software life cycle (SDLC)
• Agile methodologies

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
