When the deal is complex or high-stakes, you're the one they want in the room.You'll collaborate with operations, marketing, project managers, and estimators to make sure what's promised gets delivered—and clients keep coming back.If you know environmental services sales and you're ready to lead from the front, we want to talk to you.What You'll Work OnYou'll own sales leadership and growth across defined territories in environmental services.Environmental services accounts across defined geographic territoriesKey accounts in environmental remediationEmergency response opportunities and clientsIndustrial services customers and prospectsAccount retention and recurring business programsSales activity tracking and reportingClient billing coordination and issue resolutionNew markets and territory development in the Mid-Atlantic regionYou'll be in the mix with account managers, executive management, operations, marketing, project managers, and estimators to drive growth and retention.Your mission: keep key clients, crack new markets, and build a sales engine that runs smoothly every day.What You'll Be DoingAdminister and execute the overall sales plan across designated territoriesProvide day-to-day oversight and direction to account managersTrain, mentor, and conduct annual reviews for account managers to develop their skillsSupport the sales force with important, new, or difficult clients and dealsMaintain strong client relationships and drive high levels of client satisfactionEvaluate and recommend new markets, territories, and strategies for company growthVerify accurate customer billing information and coordinate with Accounting on credit checksAssist in resolving billing or collection issues with clientsMaintain accurate records of all sales activities via ViewpointTrain and supervise account managers on CRM use to ensure consistent data entryDevelop and produce management reports from CRM for executive leadershipMonitor the daily activity level of Sales Representatives and drive productivityDevelop, implement, and maintain an effective account retention programAssist management in developing policies and procedures for sales territories and operationsLead execution of a strategic sales plan to retain key customers and penetrate new marketsCollaborate closely with operations, marketing, project managers, and estimatorsIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business in environmental remediation, emergency response, and industrial servicesMaintain and expand relationships with existing clients to generate recurring revenueDrive business development in designated territories, especially in the Mid-AtlanticWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5–10 years of direct sales experienceBackground in environmental services, waste management, or a closely related industryEffective communication skills across clients, team members, and leadershipProven management or leadership capabilities within a sales environmentAbility to work well without direct supervision and drive outcomes independentlyAbove-average computer knowledge and skillsStrong multi-tasking ability and organizational skillsProfessional, pleasant, and polished demeanor with clients and colleaguesThe Experience That Will Really Get Our AttentionYou've led sales efforts in environmental services, waste management, or industrial services and know how to balance hunting for new business with protecting the base.
