Bilingual Therapies is seeking Behavior Specialists to support students in school-based settings throughout Minnesota. We have full-time openings , including full-year positions and leave-of-absence assignments. This opportunity is well suited for professionals with a background in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or a related field who have experience developing and implementing effective behavioral interventions.

Position Details

• Student population: School-age students requiring behavioral support

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral assessments and provide behavior-analytic interpretation of results to parents, school staff, and related community providers.

• Support teachers, school psychologists, and social workers with Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

• Develop effective data collection systems to monitor student behavior and progress.

• Review behavioral data to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans.

• Recommend and implement changes to behavioral interventions as needed to improve student outcomes.

• Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers to support students' behavioral and educational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field .

• Moderate experience working in a related behavioral, educational, or clinical field.

• Candidates may include:

  • Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) Teachers with Behavior Specialist/Interventionist experience.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teachers with Behavior Specialist/Interventionist experience.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or Behavioral Analysts.

• Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment, data collection, and intervention planning.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Licensure & Certification Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Valid Minnesota special education teaching license issued by PELSB .

• Valid Minnesota School Social Worker license issued by PELSB .

• Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license issued by PELSB .

• National Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

• Candidates currently in the process of obtaining BCBA certification may also be considered.

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training required.
