About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: Current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications Must-Have: Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Performs a wide variety of professional nursing services. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
