Role Overview

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to reduce downtime and drive reliable performance.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance; tune and calibrate machines, then validate with test runs.
• Document all work in CMMS and help coordinate parts, spares, and supplies.
• Maintain safety excellence: OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout, and strict housekeeping standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Routine inspections, lubrication, and part replacement to avoid failures.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use technical schematics, test instruments, and keen observation to pinpoint root causes.
• Repairs: Disassemble, fix, and reassemble complex production assets to restore performance.
• Calibration & Testing: Adjust settings and verify output before returning equipment to service.
• Documentation: Accurate work orders, inventory awareness, and coordination for parts procurement.
• Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA guidelines and LOTO procedures while keeping a clean, organized workspace.

Skills & Attributes

• Proficiency across mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical; blueprint and manual literacy.
• Experience with hand/power tools, precision measurement, diagnostic devices, and reliability tools.
• Basic computer fluency and the ability to learn CMMS platforms.
• Analytical mindset and spatial reasoning to tackle complex mechanical issues.
• Stamina to stand for extended periods and work in varied industrial environments.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma/GED required; vocational training, associates degree, or certifications in industrial maintenance/millwrighting preferred.
• 25 years in industrial maintenance within manufacturing or production settings.

Physical & Pre-Employment

• Lift, push, and pull 1050 lbs; regularly stand, walk, and move throughout the department.
• Wear employer-provided PPE as required.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
