Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy approaches to help them achieve their functional objectives
• Apply Therapeutic Techniques: Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' physical capabilities, cognitive skills, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide essential education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques to ensure ongoing progress at home
• Oversee and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid OTR/L license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
