General Automotive TechnicianWe are looking for a General Automotive Technician with transmission removal and installment experience to join our growing team! As a General Automotive Technician you will be called upon to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and for quickly identifying the cause of performance problems.Position Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systemsRemove and Reinstall Transmission systems.Assist other technicians in performing technical activitiesExplain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and techniciansContinuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniquesProfessionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimatedAbility to perform misfire, evap, brakes, etc.What We OfferCompetitive compensation packages based upon experience (negotiable)$5000 signing bonus!Medical AvailableRetirement OptionVacation time and paid holidaysNo weekends!Access to AAMCO's proprietary training programs, seminars and skill presentationsLive technician support hotline capable of troubleshooting any problem encountered in your centerJob RequirementsMinimum of 3+ years' experience working as a General Automotive/R&R TechnicianExperience working with valve body and solenoids is a plusOwn professional grade tools to service any general repair needSafe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
