We are seeking an exceptional, hands‑on General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day resort experience at one of the most unique luxury hospitality destinations in the world. This is not an office job. You will be the face, heartbeat, and culture carrier of the resort.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As General Manager, you will have direct leadership responsibility for the resort’s rooms and property operations, including: Front Office & Concierge Housekeeping Engineering & Maintenance Boutique Spa & Guest Services Overall resort presentation and guest experience Our restaurant has its own experienced General Manager and Executive Chef. This role is focused on the overall resort experience, providing appropriate resort‑level oversight and partnership while allowing the restaurant leadership team to own its operation.

It is knowing a returning guest’s name, remembering their preferred cottage, recognizing an anniversary, understanding their family, and noticing what they need before they ask. You will personally engage with VIPs, repeat guests, and special occasions while building a culture where the entire team understands how to anticipate guest needs and create genuine relationships. Our goal is simple: guests should not simply stay with us—they should come back to see us.

LEAD FROM THE FRONT

We want a leader who believes leadership means being present. You will spend your days throughout the resort—not behind a desk. You will walk the property, inspect cottages and public areas, talk with guests and associates, solve problems in real time, and jump in wherever the operation needs you. If Housekeeping needs a hand, you help. If a guest needs assistance, you help. If Engineering has an issue, you help solve it. If the Front Desk is busy, you step in. No job is beneath the General Manager. Our philosophy is simple: Never ask someone to do something you would not do yourself.

You will know your team, recognize great work, coach in the moment, develop future leaders, celebrate successes, and hold people accountable when standards are not met. PROTECT THE DETAILS

Luxury requires an obsession with detail. The property should be ship‑shape every day: cottages immaculate, public spaces beautiful, maintenance issues addressed before they become complaints, and landscaping, pools, beaches, docks, pathways, and back‑of‑house areas maintained with pride. You will have exceptionally high standards—and personally inspect what you expect.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a true hospitality professional—not simply someone who has held the title of General Manager. You may be the right person if you: Genuinely love taking care of people and naturally connect with guests and associates. Have luxury hotel, resort, private club, or high‑end hospitality experience. Bring strong Rooms Division and operational leadership experience. Are energetic, visible, approachable, and comfortable making decisions in real time. Notice details others miss and maintain exceptionally high standards for cleanliness and property condition. Build trust while holding people accountable. Are willing to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed. Understand that great leadership happens in the operation—not just in meetings. Have the confidence to lead and the humility to serve.
