Description: ASAP start date required. Must have an active RN license on hand. No local candidates will be considered. No long-term care experience or new graduates will be accepted. This is a state-of-the-art, 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence following an injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Custom rehabilitation is tailored to the specific needs of patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The facility strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The unit has a patient ratio of 5:1 for RN/LPN and 7:1 for CNAs. Required equipment includes Epic and Pyxis. The patient population includes adults, some geriatric patients, and rehabilitation patients. Must have experience in inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing. Common diagnoses and treatments will be encountered. First day instructions: Scrub color is any color. Time to report is 19:00. Ask for the nurse manager upon arrival. This is a contractor replacement position.
