Unit/Dept: Family Medicine Unit Details: Outpatient | All ages | No Call |
Daily Patient Volume: 10hr shift up to 33 scheduled, with typical no show rate 24. Must be prepared to see 33 though. 8hr shift up to 30 scheduled, with typical no show rate 21. Must be prepared to see 30 though.
Additional Providers/Support Staff: MA's & Support Staff EMR System(s): Epic
Lic/Certs: Active CA Lic | BLS | DEA
BC/BE: BC Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks after accepting assignment
Start Date: ASAC
Duration: 3 month commitment required, w/ option to extend preferred.
Shift: 4-10's w/ Tuesday off Housing/Travel: All Inclusive
Pay Structure: Bid
Notes: 1hr for chart completion daily | *First week orientation will be 5x8's regardless of regular schedule and may include multiple sites* | Required Exp:
One-year Locums experience along with one-year experience in an FM setting managing routine checkups, chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and preventive care. Providers must be able to see Newborns to Geriatric patients. Any missing skills/procedures or limitations on seeing certain patients must be disclosed prior to presentation. Preferred Exp:
Previous experience in an FQHC clinic. Familiarity with Migrant Farm worker patient populations. Spanish Speaking a plus but not required, staff is available on hand to help translate.
