This position will oversee day-to-day operations while continuing to serve in a senior technical capacity. This individual will provide mentorship, support project delivery, coordinate resources, and help drive consistency and quality across projects.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination

 Lead and support Water / Wastewater in the Baltimore office.

 Assist with workload planning, staff assignments, and resource coordination.

 Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.

 Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Project Leadership & Technical Oversight

 Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the design and execution of water and wastewater projects.

 Review engineering documents for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with codes and

standards.

 Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects as appropriate.

 Help resolve technical challenges and maintain design consistency across the department.

Client & Internal Collaboration

 Work closely with clients to understand project needs and ensure successful delivery.

 Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and offices.

 Support proposal efforts, including prepositioning efforts, client meetings, teaming arrangements, scope

development and fee input.

 Represent Water and Wastewater in project meetings and internal planning discussions.

Quality & Performance

 Promote adherence to our quality control processes.

 Monitor project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project managers.

 Encourage continuous improvement in design practices and project delivery.

Innovation & Professional Development

 Stay current with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies.

 Encourage adoption of BIM, Revit, Biowin and other water and wastewater modeling tools.

 Support team members’ professional growth and licensure goals.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in either Civil, Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree

preferred).

 Must be a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Maryland

 Minimum of 21 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering design and project management.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team

members, and stakeholders.
