About the Role
The Company is in search of a Dean for its School of Engineering, a role that demands a collaborative, visionary, and inspirational leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a resource-aligned growth strategy that advances enrollment, strengthens student success, and enhances research and external engagement. This pivotal position requires a Dean who can build on a strong foundation, recent investments, and a clear opportunity to shape the School's future trajectory. The Dean will be expected to recruit and support outstanding faculty and staff, elevate interdisciplinary research, enhance external partnerships and donor relations, and foster a culture of transparency, shared governance, and operational excellence. Applicants for the Dean of the School of Engineering at the company should be accomplished academic leaders with a distinguished record of achievement and the credentials necessary for appointment as a tenured professor. The ideal candidate will have proven executive leadership experience, the ability to foster collaboration, and a commitment to advancing student success. A strategic vision, strong operational and financial acumen, and a leadership style grounded in shared governance, exceptional communication, and integrity are essential. The Dean will also be tasked with building meaningful partnerships, advocating for the School within the university, and inspiring a high-performing, mission-driven academic community.
