Lab Section Supervisor - QA

Lab Section Supervisor – QA Assists the Manager of the Laboratory in the smooth operation of the Laboratory by providing technical and administrative supervision over testing on newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, or Microbiology sections. Responsibilities Assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring smooth functioning of the laboratory. Provide technical and administrative supervision over testing across the Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology sections. Ensure quality of testing for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science. 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience. 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience. Florida Medical Technologist or supervisor license. ASCP or equivalent certification. Skilled in testing for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
