General Food Production Roles

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for General Food Production roles in Ferndale, MI. This position requires candidates who can work independently, demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude, maintain attention to detail, and follow strict policies and procedures in a cold/wet, fast-paced environment. Positions include:

• Janitorial
• Machine Operator
• Sanitation
• Packaging

Pay & Benefits:

• $14.00- $14.50 per hour starting pay
• Weekly pay
• Performance pay raises
• Generous referral bonuses available

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing and packaging salsa and hummus products
• Stacking and organizing product onto pallets
• Checking labels and monitoring product quality
• Following all GMP and PPE requirements (no fake nails, eyelashes, or jewelry)
• Heavy lifting is required

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, refrigerated production facility
• Cold and wet working conditions

Available Shifts (Monday–Friday, some Saturdays):

• 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Willingness to follow GMP and PPE policies
