Continuous Improvement Intern

FORVIA is seeking a year‑round Continuous Improvement (FES) Intern for its Columbus, Indiana location. Responsibilities Establish standards for the Division based on Best Practices. Develop model line and game concepts. Maintain the FES Shareplace and training calendar. Coach and train production employees. Update or create standardized work instructions. Participate in plant workshops (Hoshin, SMED, OEE). Improve direct labour efficiency through productivity improvements. Align production lines with the Production system standard assessment. Qualifications Pursuing an Engineering degree (Industrial or Mechanical preferred). Minimum GPA of 2.8. Ability to travel during the internship. Strong computer skills and high level of organization. Good communication skills. Intermediate‑to‑advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows‑based software. Knowledge of Access, Visual Basic or equivalent is helpful. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
