Auto Repair Shop Manager / Salesperson
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Auto Repair Shop Manager / Salesperson to oversee daily shop operations, assist customers, sell automotive repair services, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, sales experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage technicians and maximize shop profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the auto repair shop.
- Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and explain recommended repairs.
- Prepare estimates, work orders, and repair invoices.
- Sell automotive repair services, maintenance packages, and additional recommended repairs.
- Follow up with customers to obtain repair approvals and build long-term relationships.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate repair work with technicians.
- Assign jobs, monitor productivity, and ensure repairs are completed on time.
- Communicate repair costs, timelines, and vehicle conditions clearly to customers.
- Manage parts ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor sales, labor hours, shop revenue, and profitability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment.
