Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- Significant professional experience within a healthcare setting or working on medical device software.
- Proven experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and integration engines.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trust with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and workflows.
- Ability to translate complex clinical needs into functional specifications for engineering teams.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional clinical and technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in healthcare or medical device environments.
- Experience analyzing business processes related to EHR data exchange and integration workflows.
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert on interoperability standards.
- Experience supporting digital health services or healthcare technology initiatives.
- Experience working across multiple departments and time zones preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders to identify use cases and requirements for digital health services.
- Analyze and document business processes related to EHR data exchange and integration workflows.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on interoperability standards to ensure seamless data flow between medical devices and health systems.
- Translate complex clinical needs into functional specifications for engineering teams.
- Maintain clear communication across multiple departments and time zones to ensure project alignment.
- Support business process analysis and requirement documentation for healthcare integration initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment between business, clinical, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Should Have:
- Experience with additional integration platforms such as Redox.
- Familiarity with EHR vendor environments such as Epic or Cerner.
- Understanding of clinical data standards including SNOMED, LOINC, and ICD.
- Experience working within Agile software development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
