Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join a growing fabrication and manufacturing operation in Houston, TX. This is a hands-on role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial electrical systems and production equipment. If you have experience working in fast-paced industrial environments and strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, motors, and controls — we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and machinery Maintain and install electrical systems, panels, conduit, and controls Diagnose issues with PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays, sensors, transformers, and control circuits Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Perform preventive maintenance on fabrication and manufacturing equipment Support maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures Preferred Experience CNC machines Welders, plasma tables, presses, shears, saws, cranes, and compressors 480V three-phase systems PLC troubleshooting Fabrication or manufacturing environment NFPA 70E knowledge Journeyman Electrician experience is a plus Requirements Previous industrial electrical or maintenance electrician experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently Comfortable working around heavy industrial equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Schedule Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Benefits Temp-to-hire opportunity Stable work environment Overtime opportunities 401(k) with company contributions once hired permanently Competitive pay based on experience
