Specialty Representative, Psychiatry - Columbus South, OH

Field-based specialty representative role focused on psychiatry pharmaceutical sales in the Columbus, Ohio area. Responsible for executing brand strategy, managing assigned territory, building customer relationships, and achieving sales performance targets while maintaining compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in assigned territory to meet sales performance and financial targets
- Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage, frequency, and sales opportunities
- Build customer relationships by identifying needs, handling objections, and achieving win-win agreements
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, disease state, and customer landscape with internal teams
- Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates to enhance brand performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or five years industry experience with three in pharma
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- Proven sales leadership success with strong presentation and business acumen skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
- Customer-focused approach with ability to adapt selling style and operate in matrix environments
- Preferred: Pharmaceutical sales experience in physician/account-based selling or managed healthcare
- Preferred: Demonstrated scientific and therapeutic expertise recognized by stakeholders
