Staff Accountant – Real Estate Development | Midtown Manhattan | $75K–$90K + BonusIs this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time, hybrid role.Our client is a well-established real estate developer with a national portfolio (office, residential, mixed-use and industrial). You'll be the financial link between the development teams, joint-venture partners and leadership, from groundbreaking to sale.What you'll work onMonthly journal entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and financial statement prepConstruction loan draws and funding requests for active development projectsTracking project costs against approved budgetsMonthly reporting to internal leadership and outside JV partnersAudit support and transaction closings (settlement statements, gain-on-sale calcs)What you bringBachelor's in Accounting (or related field)CPA, or in progress with at least one exam section passed1+ years of accounting experience.
