Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our EMEA FP&A team at Cordis on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to deepen their exposure in a dynamic, international environment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and act as a key business partner to General Managers across selected markets. You will play an important role in driving financial insights, supporting decision-making, and improving overall business performance. Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and financial statement review, and translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights
• Support and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, incorporating business initiatives, market dynamics, and operational drivers
• Perform customer and product profitability analysis to support pricing, investment decisions, and margin optimization
• Act as a key business partner to General Managers in selected markets, providing financial guidance and challenging assumptions to drive performance
• Collaborate with global Finance functions to ensure accurate representation of regional data and alignment with group standards
• Work cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, and other stakeholders
• Support statutory and internal audit processes for EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements
• Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in FP&A, controlling, or a similar role (not suitable for fresh graduates)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in working with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Proven ability to manage priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving data sets

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with tools such as JDE, OAC, or OneStream is an advantage

Languages

• Fluent in English
• Additional European language is a plus
