Medical Science Liaison, Endocrinology (Milwaukee or Twin Cities) Join Recordati Rare Diseases North America as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on Cushing’s Syndrome, Cushing’s Disease, and Acromegaly. This field‑based role supports medical community engagement across the United States and requires strong scientific expertise and relationship‑building skills. Overview The MSL will serve as the field‑based scientific expert who fosters collaborative relationships with opinion leaders focused on Cushing’s Syndrome, Cushing’s Disease and Acromegaly and facilitates the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and the company. The MSL will provide peer‑to‑peer scientific support internally and externally, ensuring high‑quality medical information is delivered to clinicians and payer decision makers. Responsibilities Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to health care professionals, including endocrinologists and pay‑or‑use committee members. Provide scientific support at medical conferences and other scientific events. Maintain peer‑to‑peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts. Respond to unsolicited medical information requests using a customized approach. Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives, including publications and investigator‑initiated trials. Support clinical initiatives including assessment and selection of clinical investigations, site identification, registry and presentation of final approved data. Provide medical and scientific input into the planning and execution of advisory boards. Train sales staff on key scientific and medical topics in the relevant therapeutic areas. Develop territory plan with input from direct line manager and gather clinical field insights. Act in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies, including adverse events and pharmacovigilance responsibilities. Perform additional duties as may be assigned. Education And Experience Advanced scientific degree (M.D., D.O., Ph.D., Pharm.D.) in Medical or Biological Sciences required. Minimum of two years of experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical functions strongly preferred. Familiarity with drug development process, FDA, ICH, and GCP guidelines. Experience implementing, monitoring, and/or managing clinical trials for academic clinical research or pharmaceutical/biotechnology company a plus. Knowledge And Skills Ability to review and interpret clinical data. Ability to develop clinical data and medical content for presentation to internal and external audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with rare diseases a plus. Excellent time management and ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Demands This largely sedentary role requires frequent standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The employee must be able to travel by commercial air carrier. Location and Travel This position is field‑based near a major airport. Approximately 60% of travel required.
