This Physical Therapist role is based in Margate, FL at a 289-bed medical center holding the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™, Joint Commission certification as a primary stroke center, American College of Cardiology accreditation as a chest pain center, and designation as a Comprehensive Bariatric Center of Excellence.

The role. The Physical Therapist performs evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice defined by law and professional code of ethics, assessing patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to contribute to the total plan of care. In home-based patient care settings, the therapist delivers skilled, purposeful interventions using procedures and techniques designed to produce measurable changes in condition or function consistent with the physician's plan of care. The therapist educates patients, families, and caregivers in the use of therapeutic exercises, appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside of formal therapy sessions. Additionally, the role carries responsibility for prioritizing caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating assignments and handoffs across the team.

What we're looking for.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license (Florida)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, day shift with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $36.53 - $45.63/hr plus SOB on a case by case basis
