The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site. Hourly rate range for this position is $17.50 – $17.50. Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our Production group in this full-time, entry-level position. This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am – 1:30 pm, with some mandatory overtime. Benefits 401(k) with an employer match of up to 6% Dental Insurance Disability insurance EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Key Responsibilities Operation, care and routine maintenance of production fermentation processing equipment Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment Clean and sanitize workroom and equipment between each production run Accurately weigh raw material for production Participate in inventory counts Perform daily duties safely in a fast‑paced, team environment Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Accountabilities and Expectations Accepting direction Attendance and punctuality Demonstrating initiative Following policies and procedures Attention to detail Skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Education & Experience High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required We will train the right candidate Physical Requirements Bend frequently Use hands constantly Push or pull 21–50 lbs Lifts or carries 21–50 lbs Squat or kneel constantly Stand for more than three hours at a time without a break This position is designated as a "SafetySensitive Position".
