Lead Generation Specialist

Mid-American Wealth Advisory Group is seeking a confident, organized, and personable Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. This is a phone-focused position designed for someone who is comfortable spending approximately 90% of their workday on the phone , connecting with prospective clients, following up with leads, and scheduling qualified appointments for our advisors. This is not a traditional sales or closing role . You will not be responsible for selling financial products or providing financial advice. Your primary responsibility is to create a strong first impression, have productive conversations with prospective clients, and move qualified individuals to the next step by scheduling appointments. BASE SALARY: $50,000 + Commission (up to $20,000+) Key Responsibilities Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective and existing leads Speak confidently and professionally with potential clients Schedule qualified appointments for our financial advisors Follow up consistently with leads who have previously expressed interest Re-engage older leads and prospective clients Ask appropriate questions to determine interest and appointment readiness Accurately document calls, conversations, outcomes, and follow-up needs Maintain organized records within company systems Complete scheduled follow-up calls and outreach Work closely with advisors and internal team members regarding scheduled appointments Maintain a professional and positive experience throughout each interaction What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Is extremely comfortable being on the phone throughout the majority of the workday Has strong verbal communication and listening skills Is confident initiating conversations with people they have not previously spoken with Can handle a high volume of calls while remaining professional and personable Is organized and consistent with documentation and follow-up Can follow scripts and processes while still sounding natural and conversational Is comfortable working toward appointment-setting and activity goals Is dependable, coachable, and receptive to feedback Can remain persistent without being overly aggressive Preferred Experience Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Appointment setting High-volume outbound calling Call center environments Scheduling Inside customer service Admissions or enrollment Recruiting or candidate outreach Other phone-intensive positions What Success Looks Like Success in this position means consistently making outbound calls, having quality conversations with prospective clients, maintaining accurate documentation, completing necessary follow-up, and generating qualified appointments for our advisory team.
