This position involves functioning independently within the emergency department and Med Surg units, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires adaptability to float between departments and adherence to hospital protocols and procedures.

Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves providing emergency and medical-surgical nursing care, utilizing equipment such as Sanford One Charge and Pixis, and following Sanford Dress Code (navy scrubs, no logos, white under uniform or white lab coat). Responsibilities include functioning independently in the ER and Med Surg units, with an expectation to float between departments as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, minimum 2 years of RN experience, Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, in addition to current licensure. Must have at least 6 months of recent Medical Surgical (MS) experience and 6 months of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday. Three call shifts are required within a 13-week contract.
• Additional Information: Must complete EPIC computer training, ER training, and Med Surg training. The assignment includes working in a trauma level acute care setting, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 4 to one depending on census and acuity.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to function independently, adhere to the Sanford dress code, and have completed the necessary training modules.
