Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 36–40 hours/week | On-call required (approximately 10–15 days/month, including weekend call)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for outpatient surgical patients across a range of specialties including General, GYN, GU/Cysto/Urology, ENT, Plastics, Orthopedics, Spine, and Robotics
• Serve as circulator in the OR; may work with a second circulator depending on case severity and patient condition
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis for medication management
• Float within the department and adapt to various surgical specialties as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Nebraska or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in an acute care hospital setting
• BLS certification – AHA or ARC required
• ACLS certification – AHA or ARC required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties (Orthopedics, Robotics, Spine, or Urology preferred)
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling demands
