Process Development Associate What You Will Do Contribute within a project team on goals such as improving process yield and robustness, and scaling-up processes to manufacturing sites Perform small‑scale bioprocess experiments encompassing upstream (cell culture) and downstream (purification) operations Maintain cultures in shake flasks, culture bags, and benchtop bioreactors Conduct purification experiments including protein chromatography, filtration, and UF/DF operations Perform automation programming for benchtop bioreactors, chromatography systems, and robotic liquid handling systems Design experiments and interpret data using in‑house visualization and analytics tools Communicate findings via oral presentations and written documentation, including GMP documents to support regulatory filings Provide scientific technical support for technology transfer of processes to manufacturing sites Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of scientific experience OR High school diploma/GED and 4 years of scientific experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biomedical/related Engineering, Life Sciences, or other relevant sciences Hands‑on experience with mammalian cell culture and/or purification operations Basic understanding of cell culture, protein chromatography, and filtration principles Ability to identify and tackle problems using scientific/engineering principles in a process development environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, collaborative environment Familiarity with design of experiments and statistical analysis of data Benefits (if eligible) Health and welfare plans for staff and eligible dependents; financial plans/opportunities to save; work/life balance; career development Retirement and Savings Plan (company contributions), group medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts Discretionary annual bonus (or sales‑based incentive for field sales reps), stock‑based long‑term incentives, time‑off plans, flexible work models where possible #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
