SENIOR BENEFITS ANALYST

Our client; a well-established organization in the Tampa area is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Analyst to support the day-to-day administration and analysis of its employee benefits and retirement programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced benefits professional who enjoys working with data, HR systems, compliance, vendors, and cross-functional HR teams. salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the day-to-day administration of employee health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs

• Analyze employee and benefits data and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

• Support annual open enrollment activities, system configuration, testing, and employee self-service functionality

• Work within HRIS and benefits administration platforms such as UKG Pro, ADP, and WEX

• Coordinate annual compliance testing, benefits audits, and required reporting

• Administer and process Short-Term Disability pay requests in coordination with Payroll

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc benefits reports and analyze discrepancies

• Assist with ACA reporting and annual filing requirements

• Maintain compliance with applicable benefits and employment regulations, including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC requirements

• Partner with Benefits leadership on benefit trends, program changes, regulatory updates, and process improvements

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and other internal departments to develop efficient and scalable processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered

• 8+ years of experience analyzing and administering employee benefit programs

• Extensive experience with benefits and/or retirement plan administration

• strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, and benefits-related compliance requirements
