Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator

Pay Rate: $20/hr (Paid Weekly)
Location: Putnam Hospital Center - 670 Stoneleigh Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512
Contract: 03/16/2026 to 09/01/2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual
Position Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting front-end clinical operations by managing patient check-in and check-out processes. This position ensures accurate patient information, efficient scheduling, and a positive overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
Confirm and update patient demographics and insurance information
Assist patients with MyChart activation and portal support
Collect copays and process payments accurately
Complete patient check-out procedures
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate visit needs
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of healthcare experience
Experience working with Epic electronic health records
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
